Women In Need is a philanthropic program designed to help women and their families in distressing situations. By working in partnership with The Women’s Center of Wake County, InterAct, and assisting the Oak Hollow Community we strive to ease the lives of their clients.
We supply assault survivor kits, gas cards, bus tickets, laundry vouchers, personal and household items, summer survival kits, food pantry items, holiday gifts and monthly luncheons. We provide for emergency hotel stays and special needs items as requested and as funds allow.
We’ve recently initiated a collaboration with Carroll’s Kitchen to paint and furnish a house for homeless women involved in their program.
