  1. Briefly, what have you done personally or professionally since high school?
  2. I taught high school English, Latin and Music.
I headed the Christian Education Department for our church creating programs and church services. I have always volunteered from leading girls’ groups, canvassing for various causes, and helping with school committees.

  3. How long have you lived in Raleigh/Cary/Durham?
  4. I have lived in Raleigh for 23 years, moving here from Montreal and Toronto (my home city).

  5. What was your motivation for joining ALTA?
  6. I wanted to do more than sporadic volunteering. I was interested in the programs and liked the women I met. I knew that each would do all that she was asked to do and more.

  7. Please, tell us something about you we may not know or something about you that is unique or unexpected.
  8. I was a model for a large Toronto department store. I played goalie for my college. I orchestrated a city-wide luncheon and fashion show. I have almost earned Masters’ level at Duplicate Bridge.
I feel like I never have enough time for all I want to do: I play golf (well – “at it”) I read books in 2 book clubs, I am learning to paint, I love to cook and entertain , I play competitive bridge, and I love to travel all over the world. Of course there is all the time I work on various committees and the Board of ALTA– good thing I retired at 55 or I would not be so far along with my bucket list!!
